The 2024 Neighborhood Clean-up Day will be held on
Saturday, May 18, from 9am – 2pm at Westmoreland Park!

Each Spring, SMILE, in cooperation with Heiberg Garbage, sponsors an annual clean-up day. Residents can clean out their garages, attics, and basements and, for a small fee, leave their junk at a drop-off point in Westmoreland Park.

What to bring:

  • Junk!
  • Yard debris
  • Appliances
  • Tires
  • Unwanted Furniture
  • Metal
  • Aluminum
  • Household E-waste … *FreeGeek will be onsite for processing e-waste

What NOT to bring:

  • Kitchen Garbage
  • Curbside Recyclables
  • Construction/Demolition Materials
  • Materials Possibly Containing Asbestos
  • METRO Prohibited Materials, including but not limited to:
    • Concrete
    • Plaster
    • Sheetrock
    • Dirt
    • Batteries
    • Hazardous waste
