SMILE Land Use Committee Meeting

6:00-6:05 PM: Introductions

6:05 – 6:45 PM: Draft letter for SMILE Board approval that comments on recommendations from the Design Overlay Zoning Assessment Project (DOZA). DOZA will revise the design overlay in the zoning code which applies to most multifamily properties in SMILE and will apply to most commercial properties beginning in 2018, so it will significantly affect development in our neighborhood. 6:45-7:00 PM: Discuss next steps for adoption of voluntary design guidelines similar to the Division Design Initiative

7:00-7:15 PM: Discussion of how we should present development plans when the developer is absent.
