SMILE Board Meeting

7:30 p.m. Welcome and introductions.
7:35 p.m. Review and pass minutes  from December 19, 2018 meeting.
7:40 p.m. Family Night at Sellwood Community Center – Gail Hoffnagle, SMILE Vice President and Chair of Friends of Sellwood Community Center.
7:45 p.m. Summer Concert Series – Jim Friscia, Sellwood Riverfront Park Summer Concerts Committee Chair.
8:00 p.m. Discussion: Main Street Project – David Schoellhamer, Land Use Committee Chair, Heather Flynn-Chatto and Linda Nettekoven from the Main Street Project, and members of the Land Use Committee.  The Main Street Project is a program for Portland neighborhoods whose main commercial areas developed initially around street car or trolley lines. It provides a guide, or toolkit, for developers and designers working with the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood to create a vibrant, healthy, community-oriented, pedestrian-friendly urban neighborhood.
