Land Use Committee Meeting

6:00 – 6:05 PM: Introductions.

6:05 – 6:30 PM: 8005 SE 13th Avenue Design Review:  Discuss and outline SMILE comments for design review of the 3-story 19-unit building to replace the former Sock Dreams house at 13th and Nehalem.  Deadline for comments is February 19.  The project was presented to us last month.  Details are available at https://www.portlandoregon.gov/bds/article/752400 .

6:30 – 6:50 PM: Proposed draft of the South Reach River Plan:  Discuss the draft and the section specific to Sellwood.  Decide what if any testimony to submit to the Planning and Sustainability Commission before the February 25 deadline.  More information on the Plan is at https://beta.portland.gov/bps/south-reach/river-plan/south-reach-project-documents. A section specific to Sellwood is in Volume 1, part 1, beginning on page 75.

6:50 – 7:15 PM: Review upcoming developments and prioritize which ones the Committee should reach out to the developers to discuss the Sellwood-Moreland Main Street Design Guidelines.  Upcoming developments were updated January 10 and a spreadsheet is available at http://smilesellwood.wpengine.com/land-use/ .
