Land Use Committee Meeting

6:00 – 6:05 PM: Introductions.

6:05 – 7:00 PM: Design Overlay Zone Amendments Project (DOZA) Proposed Draft Report: This City project is revising the zoning rules for the design overlay zone which covers much of our neighborhood.  We will discuss and outline SMILE testimony to be submitted to the Planning and Sustainability and Design Review Commissions if approved by the SMILE Board.  The Commissions will hold a joint hearing on DOZA October 22.  More information on the Project is at https://www.portlandoregon.gov/bps/70324 . 7:00 – 7:15PM: Contacting property owners: The Committee will discuss why, when, and how we would contact property owners to discuss development.
